ROBERT MOUSEMAN THOMPSON EARLY ADZED OAK WARDROBE

An early Robert Mouseman Thompson English Oak Wardrobe of early panelled construction with a castellated carved frieze above a pair of doors heavily adzed finish to all external visible surfaces of particular special interest are the handmade wrought iron butterfly hinges fixed via handmade nails and early carved recessed mouse signature to left front leg.
The inside has been fitted out with a combination of open shelves single storage drawer and pulls out trouser storage rails cufflink tray tie/belt rail and pull out jacket rail

Condition/Provenance
Excellent condition throughout with a warm dark oak colour and a rich patina originally purchased from Robert Thompson by Mrs. Adamson from Northallerton North Yorkshire on 26/07/28 this piece is supplied with a photocopy of the of the original sales ledger from Robert Thompsons
