Sidney (Sid) Pollard of Bagby  (1914-1994)

A fully adzed Oak Panelled Blanket Chest, the rectangular top with wrought  iron hinges standing on four octagonal shaped feet.

Pollard did not use a carved critter signature but  instead his work is easily identified by its craftsmanship.
