ROBERT MOUSEMAN THOMPSON LARGE 8 ft ADZED ECCLESIASTICAL TABLE

A Superb Large Adzed Ecclesiastical Table by the craftsmen at Robert Mouseman Thompson, with a 244 cm 8ft length, the top comprising of two grand planks 33.5 cm and 35.5 cm wide giving a 69 cm width, the top timbers are 6 cm thick, the piece with an early design adzed and pegged top each end  having a pair of small carved crosses in recess with one in the centre.

The base standing on 4 very large carved supports one with a lovely carved mouse the base being linked by stretchers.

Size 244 cm long x 69 cm wide 76 cm high

Superb colour and condition the piece looks to be much earlier than our assessment of its age.
