An Acorn Industries Oak Hall or Telephone Table with an adzed top above two graduated drawers with a carved up stand to the rear one central panel housing a carved acorn and oak leaf in recess
The storage chest below has a 3 panelled front with a hinged seat the whole piece fully adzed to all visible areas and fitted with Arts & Crafts style iron hinges standing on shaped feet with a carved recess acorn signature to one side

Acorn Industries was formed in the 1950s by Alan Grainger in the village of Brandsby North Yorkshire many of the items produced by Acorn are based on designs by Kingpost woodwork who had a close working relationship with Acorn Industries.
