MARTIN LIZARDMAN DUTTON PAIR OF MONKS/CAPTAINS CHAIRS 1955

Rare pair of Martin Lizardman Dutton Oak Monks/Captains Chairs in the Robert "Mouseman" Thompson monks chair style.

Chairs have excellent carved Northallerton Town Crests with dated carved inscriptions "Presented by the Parents Association 1955" these chairs were originally commissioned as a gift to Northallerton College.

Excellent original condition minor scuffs and wear to woodwork.very good rich colour.
We have replaced the seat coverings with new leather
