ROBERT MOUSEMAN THOMPSON CLASSIC 5FT OAK DINING SUITE

Circa 1950 this Oak Dining Suite has a refectory style table with a four-plank dowelled top and stands on large,  faceted balusters continuing to trestles joined by a chamfered and adzed stretcher and signed with a mouse signature in high relief to one baluster

The six dining chairs, including two carvers, each with square backs and carved lattice work splats, out swept arms, and raised on padded leather seats, octagonal front legs, each carved with a high relief trademark mouse, united by stretchers

During this period, the front stretcher was set forward and not set back as later chairs were
