A beautiful example of a Classic Robert Mouseman Thompson Oak 5′ Foot Sideboard with rear up stand, the adzed top stands over two multi panelled cupboards each panel with good, figured oak internally fitted with fixed internal shelves and a central bank of 5 drawers two half drawers over three graduated full width storage drawers each with turned and carved wood handles and raised on turned faceted feet

Fitted with wrought iron hinges and latches, the whole piece fully adzed to all visible areas in line with period craftsmanship and with the nice extra feature of nicely tooled drawer knobs.  Carved mouse signature, carved in high relief to front right hand side support

With copy of original purchase receipt 23rd February 1951 cost new £70.00 plus delivery £6.00 and purchase tax @33%
