ROBERT MOUSEMAN THOMPSON CLASSIC DINING SUITE WITH ORIGINAL INVOICE

A classic Robert Mouseman Thompson Oak Dining Suite comprising a 6 foot refectory style table with a three plank adzed and dowelled top raised on faceted balusters continuing to trestles joined by a chamfered stretcher the whole table fully adzed with a large carved mouse signature to one leg together with a set of six fully adzed panelled back dining chairs the leather tan seats being replaced by Robert Thompsons in 1982 (copy invoice available) each raised on faceted baluster legs terminating in blocks joined by stretchers each with a carved mouse signature on legs the whole suite with a good honey colour and lovely adzing

Very good condition and colour very minor marks in line with age to the table and some minor marks to the hide seats

Note: Chairs of later design had the front stretcher placed further back rather than between the front legs and dining tables do not have the distinctive dowelled tops.
