A Rare Early English Oak Enclosed Bookcase by the Robert Mouseman Thompson workshops with a rectangular top and castellated carved frieze over two doors with 15 figured and burr oak panels enclosing three large adjustable oak shelvespanelled sides and back.

The whole piece fully adzed in line with early craftsmanship and fitted with original cast iron hinges and latch carved recessed mouse signature to front right

This piece was purchased directly from Robert Thompson in the early 1930s
