ROBERT MOUSEMAN THOMPSON OAK MONK’S CHAIR

A lovely comfortable Mouseman Monks Chair originally designed in the 1920’s for Ampleforth Abbey.

This more recent example has a shaped curved back and with 3 carved lattice panels standing on four carved octagonal legs joined by cross stretchers, one leg has a carved mouse signature in high relief.
