Width: 183cm Depth: 46cm Height: 84cm
This design was used by Robert Thompson in his own home and has been re-produced in modern varieties. However, to get a period piece with 16 burr oak panels and ribbon carved details to upstand, is quite unusual and Ingnet Antiques are delighted to offer this original example to the collectors market.
To our knowledge, the last similar example on the market of the same design, was bought by us in 2011 in Gloucestershire.
Provenance: This piece was specially commissioned for Darras Hall, Ponteland in 1937.
