Robert Mouseman Thompson Oak Octagonal Ashtray with lovely carved mouse signature superb colour and condition

Circa 1930

The octagonal shaped ashtray is not a standard shape and was probably made by Richard Pollard elder brother of Sid Pollard who were both early Thompson craftsman. Robert Thompson allowed his craftsmen to make items for their families and the provenance of this piece is from the Pollard family
